The coastal region is dotted with bays each more picturesque than the next. This is where you launch an ocean safari in search of the the marine big 5; Southern Right Whales, Great White Sharks, Bottlenose Dolphin, African Penguins and Cape Fur Seals. (We got to see four of the five!)
The private nature preserve of Grootbas is nestled a forest in the the mountain overlooking the ocean. Their foundation works to preserve and expand the natural flora and fauna of the area and education the public on environmental conservation.
